Fact-Checking

Verifying sources, claims, and published material for accuracy

Translation

Translating materials between Rohingya, Burmese, English, Bengali, Arabic, and Turkish

Archiving

Digitizing and preserving documents, photographs, and oral testimonies

Conducting interviews and supporting field documentation and community engagement

Volunteer Requirements

  • Must be of Rohingya identity
  • Must have proficiency in English required for the role
  • Must have a basic understanding of Rohingya history and identity
  • Must be committed to accuracy, ethical research, and RRF's mission of non-partisan documentation
  • Must be able to commit reliable time and effort to assigned tasks
  • Must be respectful of community sensitivities when handling testimonies, archival material, or personal accounts
